Bradford, Penn. – July 26, 2022 – W .R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company (Case), a leading manufacturer of premium knives, today announced its national consumer event series, the Case Country Tour, running from July 30, 2022 to October 29 with 10 U.S. stops at key retailers. The tour celebrates the annual family road trip tradition during which Case’s enthusiasts and collectors visit Case dealers, enriching their personal treasured collections. Case Collectors Club members and knife enthusiasts are invited to participate in special activities. Case travel “passports” will be distributed to event guests to collect unique stampings from visiting Case personalities on the pages inside. Event goers also have exclusive access to limited edition knives, one-of-a-kind auction items, themed giveaways and much more.

“We look forward to engaging with Case devotees and our amazing network of retailers who have been an integral part of our history,” said Brent Tyler, AVP of marketing at Case. “Consumers and collectors love these annual events because they celebrate and honor the craft of knife making and collecting. Our retailers nurture our heritage by providing the best possible home for some of the most unique Case knives. We could not do this without their support.”

Each retailer receives a limited number of Case Canvas™ knives with unique designs that are chosen by the retailer and only available at the Case Country Tour events. Each Canvas knife features a design with a map of the respective retailer’s home state. Specially prepared knives from 40-year veteran Case model maker Mike Dubois will be auctioned at Case Country Tour events, with proceeds benefiting local charities chosen by the retailer.

The Case Country Tour originated from the late 1950s and 60s, when Case discovered that people were traveling to Case dealers near and far to find the knives they really wanted. Collectors would encounter one another during these trips and form friendships over their knife collections. Case decided to formalize the development of these relationships by hosting consumer events across the country that celebrated their fervent fans and the traditions that were born out of Case knives.
