For generations, families and friends have come together and made memories in their hunting and fishing camps and cabins in the outdoors. But years of neglect and unfortunate circumstances have imperiled these dwellings they once loved.
Enter professional outdoorsman Hal Shaffer, who has built a successful career in outdoor media, appearing in some of the most popular outdoor television shows like the Outdoor Channel’s Drop Zone, which he has co-hosted for many seasons.
Shaffer approached the Outdoor Channel with an idea for a new show that would locate distressed properties and rebuild them for future generations to enjoy in just seven days. When the network agreed to produce the show, Shaffer signed Case on as a corporate sponsor. Together, they’re ensuring that the outdoor lifestyle is safe and sound for generations to come.
“Case is a name that every outdoors enthusiast knows and loves,” says Shaffer. “I couldn’t think of another brand that represents the preservation of outdoor traditions better than Case.” John Sicher, Case’s EVP of Marketing & Innovation at Case, concurs. “We’re pleased to have found a way to make such a positive impact on the families that have supported us and built memories with us over generations.”
Together, Shaffer and Case will celebrate the premiere of Outdoor Channel’s Renovation Hunters, the network’s first-ever home renovation show, set to air February 24th at 8 pm ET, hosted by Shaffer. Hal is joined by co-host Kevin Tarkovich, who acts as general contractor for each project. The two lead a team of tradesmen and women with individual backgrounds and specializations that all contribute to the property’s inspired reveal.
One of the episodes of this first season of Renovation Hunters will be of particular interest to our Bradford-area locals and Club members everywhere. Tune in to the show to find out which build we’re commenting on here…that’s all we can tell you about it for now!
