W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Announces Knoxville Satellite Finishing Facility

New operation will support product finishing and packaging activities to meet growing demand for Case products

Bradford, PA (August 4, 2026) — W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Company today announced plans to open a satellite facility near Knoxville, Tennessee. This added resource will perform select finishing and packaging operations, expanding Case’s operational capacity to support the company’s unprecedented growth.

The decision reflects increasing demand for Case products, the Knoxville region’s strong and skilled labor pool, and the brand’s established following across the United States.

“Case has built its reputation on uncompromising quality, craftsmanship and performance,” said Tim Van Horn, Vice President of Operations at Case. “As demand for our products continues to grow, this new Knoxville-area facility will provide the critical capacity we need, and with a workforce who share a strong affinity for the Case brand.”

Case’s headquarters in Bradford, Pennsylvania will remain the heart of the company’s manufacturing operations and will continue to expand its capabilities and workforce. Van Horn stated, “The Knoxville area facility allows for continued growth for Bradford, complementing its operations by handling a portion of the finishing and packaging activities. This strategy enables Case to serve more customers more efficiently across the country while upholding the quality standards associated with every Case product.”

The company expects the Knoxville facility to be operational later this year. Additional information regarding the facility and employment opportunities will be announced as plans progress.
