When you pick up one of our new Platts Jig Yellow Bone pocket folders, you step into a world where tradition and innovation collide. Each is built with rugged stainless steel blades, engineered for durability and precision cutting. But it’s the knife's handle that tells a deeper story of time-honored craftsmanship. The jigging style on the yellow bone handle is actually a tribute to the work of Charles Platts, a prominent cutler from Sheffield, England who brought his knifemaking skills to America at the end of the 19th century and later joined his knife company with W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Company in Bradford, Pennsylvania in 1905.

The Barlow is a vintage-era jack knife design that dates back to the early 1900's and is characterized by a single oversized pocket end bolster and a broad Clip blade on board. Feel the history and savor the good looks of the one and only Case® Barlow.
