These limited production Case knives are truly works of art. The Natural bone handles take on a rugged look with our Deep Canyon jigging that's burnished by open flame. Our carbon Damascus steel blades are crafted based on an ancient technique passed down through thousands of years, where layers of steel are folded in, over and over again, in extreme heat - to yield a stunning raindrop pattern with superior strength. The Case Baby Doc always delivers, but only for a limited time! This pint-sized knife was modeled after the full-sized Doctor's Knife ('85SP). The pattern was named by the Case Collectors Club community at the Zippo/Case International Swap Meet in 2004 and was later introduced to the public in January, 2005. The knife hearkens back to a time when doctors carried a knife like this in their medicine bags to cut sutures and bandages, crush pills, and mix medicines with liquids while conducting housecalls. Comes conveniently packaged in a box. Made in Bradford, PA, USA from domestic and imported materials.
